2018 Recap

Philly Bookshelf had a great start in 2018! We were only in operation for a few short months and were able to provide 2030 books worth over $6,000 to the Philadelphia community. We gave books to an urban farm called Germantown Kitchen Garden, patients of Philadelphia FIGHT Pediatrics, the Support Center for Child Advocates Holiday Drive for children in need in the foster care system, and Eastern State Penitentiary’s Holiday Drive for children whose parents are incarcerated.

Many thanks to all of our donors and everyone who supported us. Philly Bookshelf relies entirely on the generous support of individual donors and corporations. We are truly grateful and could not provide books without you!
